The Tory UK Government has excluded Caerphilly from the Community Renewal Fund, one of the schemes designed to replace EU funding. They promised that Wales would not be a "penny worse off" after Brexit, but they have deliberately excluded our area from the funding.
Research conducted by Delyth Jewell's team has found that Caerphilly should definitely have been included since it is less well off than nearly half of the 100 areas which were included. The research found that many key Tory priority constituencies, many of them "red wall" seats they won in 2019, were included instead. Click here to read about the research.
If you agree with Plaid Cymru's Delyth Jewell that this money, which Caerphilly was promised and is entitled to, should be provided, sign this petition.
And by voting for Delyth Jewell to be Caerphilly's next Member of the Senedd, you will be giving her a mandate to demand that the Tories deliver what they promised.
